Newcomer Centre of Peel
The Newcomer Centre of peel (NCP) provides a place for all newcomers to the region of Peel to acquire vital language and life skills and enhance their choices in proactive settlement in Canada. NCP began as an English language provider along with childcare services nearly two decades ago. This solid human service foundation proved highly successful, thus enabling further expansion of program and services. Today, NCP is a leader in settlement and integration services within the Region of Peel supporting newcomer families in their settlement process.
NCP prides itself on being highly client centric and as such, recognizes that the needs of our clients are our number one priority. While we can safely tuck the years of experience under our belts, we continue to learn and grow from each and every client. We achieve this through our main reception and welcome centre. In this unique space, we give voices to our clients to tell us exactly what they need and how and where they want their settlement journey to begin. This initial conversation is followed by an in-depth orientation of all services and resources available to our clients, not only within NCP but also, within the community. This is process is guided by one of our many settlement counselors selected by language to effectively assist our clients.
