TalentOyster.com, Canada’s leading diversity digital job board, has entered into a partnership with The Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC), which will expand job search opportunities for new Canadians.
Established in 2009, TalentOyster.com is a fully searchable website with hundreds of new job postings each month, as well as volunteer positions and internships to build work experience in Canada. It was designed to connect the new immigrant workforce with corporate Canada and operates in 11 languages.
The ICC has a unique place in the country because it operates as a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to educate and inform. Founded by former Governor-General The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson and author John Ralston Saul, ICC offers cultural experiences and volunteer opportunities for new Canadians.
"This partnership is a perfect fit, since we both play an important role in assisting new Canadians in getting settled; finding a job is one of the top priorities on their list," says Lori Abbitan, President of TalentOyster.
