Location: Oshawa, Ontario

We are offering a student placement(s) in our Darlington Refurbishment Supply Chain Department. This position is based at the GM Building located in Oshawa, Ontario.

As the successful candidate you may be responsible for the following duties:
  • assisting with organizing the files and information within the Supply Chain sharepoint site
  • provide support for the infrastructure associated with Supply Chain contracts evaluations
  • support organization and management of records and files for deliverables resultant from Supply Chain contracts evaluations
  • perform simple analysis of various contracts to identify differences and provide recommendations
  • provide assistance and establish a method to manage and control vendor correspondence to support the contract procurement process.
  • Other duties as required.

We are searching for an enthusiastic General Arts or Science program student who has completed a minimum of one year, and will be returning to college or university (full-time) upon completion of this work term, or require one final work term to graduate.

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
  • Experience using MS Excel and Word would be an asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with others by developing trust, mutual respect and co-operative working relationships
